About the event

Welcome to our annual St. Patrick's Day Paddle from 10:45am-1:30pm at Silverton Reservoir. Prize for best Dress and Best Dress Kayak!

Treats and cider included!

Both Customers and Community Paddlers are welcome to join. It's $5 per person for the kayak/ paddle boarder community to join. For customers it's a discount of $45 and includes kayak and gear, kayak shuttling, guiding, water safety education/ paddle lessons. Requirements: Less then 230pds and 6’ for safety purposes. It's $5 to shuttle with me from Salem.

(Hot Cider and Treats) are provided for per paid sign up.

Apparel, wear rain pants, warm thinner jacket/ rain jacket. As the life vest has to fit over jacket, rain boots, or shoes that can get wet, and scarf  etc, to keep you warm. Hat to keep rain out of face, (if) it rains. Unless its heavy rain or windy, it could cancel event. It's your responsibilty to (send a text msg to 503-877-8449) to confirm your reservation/ if there is room first. This is the only way to update you of changes.

It is cold water time, so we paddle along the lakes rim and only in flat water. No fast moving water. Stability is easy on flat water pw addling. We go in sit inside kayaks. For customers: for safer stability during cold water time. We ask for participants to be 6' or shorter and 230 pounds or less. Sit on top kayaks do better for big and tall individuals. Its cold water time, and its too cold for sit on tops and don't want any chance of tipping.

It is $5 to park at Silverton Reservoir.
