FREE community event: Enjoy a New Year’s Day morning Paddle on the Beautiful Estacada Lake, with many waterfalls to enjoy from below. Good times with great company! So far, we have had really beautiful New Year’s Day weather. Must text (New Year’s Day Paddle) to 503-877-8449 to RSVP. This is flat water paddling. NO currents, easy to paddle all year round. There is a $6 parking fee at Estacada Lake. Card only from the machine. State Park Pass do work here.

(LIMIT TO 3 PEOPLE who needs a free kayak rental). For customers needing a kayak, due to cold water time, we use 10ft sit inside kayaks, and for safety purposes. Must be 235pds or less and under 6'1". We launch from Estacada Lake Boat Ramp by 10:00AM, and take out by 2pm. This is an easy flat water paddle up the creek side, along the lake. Dress for the weather. Spare clothes, shoes that can get wet, hat, jacket, gloves, scarf, face shield if needed. Pants that can get wet or splash guard. Dry bags available on site. There is a restroom at launch. There is no other restrooms on site, once you leave the boat launch. It is a hour and 30 mins from one end, back to boat launch. Come prepared, bring water and snack.
