Enjoy a guided Paddle up to the Willamette River towards the Agate Rock beach, followed by BBQ and Fun!. Find the largest Agate Rock for a chance to WIN a PRIZE!

Music and fun! No worry for shuttling. We launch and get out at same location, must drive yourself to location. And free parking. Everyone meets and parks on the river rock beach to left of the Wheatland Ferry on the (west side) If you are coming from Keizer. You will need to pay to ride the Ferry Cash only each way.

Must RSVP/ Register for $10 per person/ If you need a kayak rental. It is a $45 special. Includes shuttling the kayak, gear and being guided. Customers renting kayak to join this event, must be less than 235pds, under 6'1" to reinsure everyone is proper size for these kayaks for safety purposes, have the ability to get up from a sitting position on their own. To climb in and out of a kayak without assistance, and upper arm strength as we paddle up river against the slow-moving river currents, for safety purposes. Everyone is to wear a PFD/ Life vest. And take directions from the tour guide Shannon.

Must send a text to Salem Kayak Rentals LLC at 503-877-8449 (your first and last name, email, so we can send you the waiver and payment link. (Only 8 spots available). So, book quickly. There is no guarantee there is a porta potty/restroom at launch, (in the past there has been at times), there is no public restrooms on the rock island. There is a restroom on the other side of the river at the State Park. We launch by 11AM, It takes an hour to paddle to the rock agate rock beach by 11am, 30 mins to prep for food, 30 mins to enjoy food by 12:30, followed by prize give aways by 1pm, we should start wrapping up equipment by 1:30, and by 2pm we are paddling back to boat ramp. Takes 30-40 mins. If you are renting, we ask you to not leave early, as we cannot leave our equipment unattended.
