This is a fun annual BBQ Agate Rock Contest that is BBQ catered along the river bar known to find agates of all sizes. Prize giveaways for largest agates, music food and fun! This is a good 4 hour day from start to finish. It takes 45mins to paddle upstream (this is NOT recommended) for first time paddlers. Than 2hrs searching for agates, music & food & ejoying cooling off in the river. Before 30 mins to float back. Recommend, hat, sunscreen, and water shoes. This is a community event. If you have your own kayak, it's only $15 includes food. If you need a kayak rental its $60 and also includes food and gear. Kayak Rentals will be using sit on tops, making it easy to look for agates. For safety purposes for kayak rentals. NO taller then 6'1" and 240pds and less. Text 503-877-8449 for availability.
